  1. start rclone [rclone]
  2. sync the files [sync]
  3. get the remote file list quickly [--fast-list]
  4. do not use filename or directory encryption, and do not change or add a file extention [--crypt-suffix=none]
  5. show progress of transfers [-P]
  6. source directory [C:/Users/Home/Documents]
  7. destination remote directory [EncryptedServer:"Home"]

rclone sync --fast-list --crypt-suffix=none -P C:/Users/Home/Documents EncryptedServer:"Home"

Rclone will now encrypt the contents of every file before uploading, but will not change the filename. This allows for the maximum allowable filename length on the destination server. Some personal information may be obtained from the filename itself, but the contents are encrypted with CHACHA20 + Poly1305.
